Humid afternoon in my part of Missouri. much went on a walk collected some aluminum cans for extra money I hope. Roommate cost a lot of money . Cheaper to live on the road and I eat better LoL

Weather? I'm in a climate controlled apartment.

It was cold this morning in the van. A hint of things to come.

Meanwhile, today is the day I want to completely empty this "office" room in which I now sit. Wish me luck. Lots of work left to be done in here.

Almost got kicked out due to someone not following the rules and it wasn’t me. Drove the rig around park found a empty spot and parked it, went to pay the fee, filled out the paperwork and paid my money and dropped it in the slot. Went to put it in the slot of my spot and low behold was someone’s already there on the board, walked back to my campground to look around, no sign of any spot holding. Waited 30 minutes it was getting late so I unloaded halfway done some couple pulled up in a rental RV and they went off the rails on me and my girlfriend, held my ground I wasn’t moving cause the spot was not marked or anything and I already paid. Told them to get park rangers. Park rangers came by a hour later and said they are not kicking us out but that I should of moved and “they don’t care what the rules say” that I’m now on their radar, lastly sweet rig you got there was the last words. Hate being the criminal when I did nothing wrong.

He was just appeasing the other folks and you too. There was no clear path forward for him to take.

Stuff happens even when you're trying to do the right thing.

Anyhow, missed morning here because I was at the church. Gave the women's Bible study my big coffee pot and some casserole dishes that I used for potlucks.

Yesterday a man who runs a Christian camp at one of the lakes up north came here to relieve me of my last furniture and some other stuff including some prospecting equipment I had that I'll never use. I was so happy to see it go. Nice man... he will list it on Craigslist or something like that, and the money will go to the camp.

So now I just have the things I saved for Nita, things for Virginia, and then more stuff to give away, throw away, or take with. Eight more days of this... that includes today so I'd better get busy.

Life's good, and getting better. Light at the end of the tunnel, I'm coming your way.

good morning
hot as hades here, heat index over 100, so stagnant

easy day of small chores and hit grocery store, oh the exciting life ;)

Good morning, sitting here waiting for coffee to perk, topping batteries off and it’s nippy up here around 48 degrees. Another partly cloud with rain later day...

More progress is being made. At least now I don't have any furniture that is big and bulky. What I have left I can put in the dumpster if I have to. Right? Or maybe give to someone who can get more use out of it. Or take with, if there's room. There probably won't be. I expect this to be a tight fit. I'm up for the challenge.

I'm so happy things are finally getting emptied out a bit here... but I have much more organizational work to do this week. I'll be continuing to go through what's left to identify things that I don't want to have going forward with me in life... know what I mean? The more I can cast aside, the better, because the things I'm not willing to cast aside are space consuming. All that's really left in here are some folding tables and a lot of boxes with misc. things in them. I'd better get back to my sorting.

Oh - I also have some shelves and things that a woman will be coming to get today. She wanted all my home organization type tools and I've saved them for her here in my front hallway.

Weather = sporadic light rain showers and inconsistent cloud cover with bits of blue sky showing through in places.

That is great and when it comes to van dwelling "less is more".  My decisions of what to take are only essentials for clothes and kitchen and that leaves more room for the items I use to generate supplemental income. Plus I have to be careful how much things weigh.

Late to the party (again). Coming attractions (near me, not you, lol), getting out for 4 days for a grand nieces wedding middle of October, friends from down under (Australia) in town at the end of October, out to get DL renewed (sometime before end of October), and the kids saying I can get out for a bit later. I told them maybe January, I have been bleeding money and need to recover. The van will need some help before I can go so another 1 or 2K for that probably. Light at the end of the tunnel, just hope it isn't the express.

Cooling a little here, mid 90's and mid 70's, still warm but a little more tolerable.

Stay safe and have fun.

This can't wait for morning. I have to tell you what I just bought - a cargo trailer, fully converted! This has a solar panel, battery, TV, stereo, interior lighting, fan/vent of some kind, room for my art studio, and queen sized murphy-type bed and fold-down table, fully insulated... with an awning! I've been looking at cargo trailers and prices for a few weeks and then this came up and ... well, I had to buy it. That takes care of my immediate problems about how to live, transport my JUNK what little is left of it... etc.

Congrats!  Can't wait to see what you do with it :)

It is actually pretty small (narrow) - 6x14 I think he said... but that's a blessing because he bought this to put his HUGE quads in and they didn't fit!! So he's selling it to me... :)
