Yeah, I know. Since my system is so minimalist, I have 100% (literally) of my solar wiring in one little cabinet right by the side doors of the van. So if it ever catches fire, I can kick it outside real fast.
Your all right Q. It pays to have a plan.

Picked up a cool yoga mat tonight to cover my internal battery bank. It is made of EVA foam only 6mm thick but what the hey, it will serve 2 purposes a cover and insulation. I like shopping at Kohl's great deals plus I got a $20.00 same as cash.

Definitely looks like a professional installation. Nicely dressed and routed wires.

Yes I wanted a s close to the integrity of an aircraft as possible. The highly skilled private installer understood what I wanted.

I imagine you will be able to power just about anything you would at home. Will there be solar, as well?

If your referring to solar panels, they are on the roof. 640 watts. Was going  to install 1000 watts, but i didn't want the overhang.

Pictures this AM. My bed, Fridges underneath the bed, and yoga mat covering battery bank.

Is that a washing machine!?

I believe you like tacos... :D

If your wondering why everything is grey. It makes it easier for me to coordinate as it were. I just ask the sales persons where is the grey stuff at? That way I avoid the inevitable questions like (that sure is a strange color scheme).

It is a washing machine, spin dryer combo. $110.00 on Amazon. I used it all summer in the driveway to wash my clothes, just for fun. It is awesome and uses very little power.

Yes, I love Tacos. :p It is an ongoing thing with my kids and acquaintances.

Cool, when you open for business, 1/2, you can just hang the bed sheets from the side of the van.

Another idea: with all that solar and battery, you can setup a popup tent on the back of the van, and sell showers too to poor minimalist vanners in the BLM outback.

I have been reviewing those shower tents. I have also been considering making a folding slatted platform for my trailer hitch. Placing one of those shower tents on it. So in the AM I can just open the barn doors, roll out of bed and jump in the shower tent.
