So am going to search for a combonation shower stall, toilet with instant hot water 110V heater. Saw one of these things in a hospice in denmark five years ago, and they are really functional. Just have to find one that would typically go in a boat and price out one for putting inside a BUS-RV or even a Van-RV type installation. It is a little fancy for many folks, but to me it is kind of a civilization remnant.

Guess i need to look at this type of a propane heater and not consider electric. propane heaters instant water heaters work better.

The type of wet bath you are looking for are also frequently found in truck campers. The cassette baths found in some tent trailers may be of interest to you as well.

I have seen both types advertised on craigslist.

Off grid -- What Craig's list area are you looking at? When I look I can only search my small few local counties. Do you do a nationwide search?

Also need a ventilation fan for the moisture in the shower stall toilet stall area. To me it's worth the space committed to the function.

go look at a few small campers. You will find ideas for a wet-toilet-shower-room you could build. You will need a holding tank.

they make rv type tankless water heaters. that one you posted is for residential use. I have never heard of the brand and it is very inexpensive which makes me wonder about quality. the combo toilet/showers are very common in smaller type rvs. if that's all you have room for then you must live with it. but there are several disadvantages. for example when you take a shower you have to take everything out you don't want to get wet. also everything in there gets wet so you have to dry it all out before other uses. so like I said if that's all you have room for you live with it. but if you have the space a separate toilet shower is the way to go. highdesertranger

I had a RV with a wet bath toilet shower. There was no problem with wet. i did not store anything in the wet room! The only problem was when the holding tank filled and waste came up from the floor drain. That only happened once, then i knew to dump the tank sooner. Still no big thing.

I don't remember what area I was looking at, I already had it open for an area somebody else was looking for a van in.

I just looked it up for Portland, the nearest big town to me at the moment, and here's what I found: http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/rvs/4628165050.html

off road that link that offgrid posted is an excellent price if that is what you are looking for. highdesertranger
