The infection that killing coronavirus patients from an ER doctor.

This explains in detail what happens and how.
Basically choking the lungs and reducing oxygen intake with increased breathing rate.
What was interesting was that a pulse oximeter can be used to help determine early warning symptoms before the advanced stage of fever.
Apparently these are cheap and sold out now.
If I knew this sooner...
But check in your area anyway.

Cool, I got to the point in the first minute where there a reference to Gov Inslee (LOL), so I decided to look him up. Here is his telecast from last night, April 21. As he is working in conjunction with the governors from CA and OR, his plans to go forward very much reflect those in the link I gave above in regards CA ... greatly increased testing, tracing contacts of infected people, and quarantining those infected, plus WA is adding 1500 more people to carry this out.

Description: a news story about cases in China linked to restaurant dining in proximity, and air conditioning.

Description: Second vid see Anderson loose it. Discussed restaurant seating with the mayor of Las Vegas, not political its all about the money.

"Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman (I) says that she wants to reopen the city's casinos, restaurants and entertainment venues for business so people can get back to work. CNN's Anderson Cooper asks her if that's safe given the data about the Covid-19 pandemic."

Before anybody opens back up, they should be made to show a graph of the progression of virus cases, and especially deaths, in their states.

Simply stated, "turning the corner" is way too early to open up. China waited 2 whole months in Wuhan after turning the corner, until the daily numbers were way down in the single digits.

Crofter I just checked, no post have been deleted since Q posted that. it must be on your end. highdesertranger

Something tells me the qualifications are so strict in my state, it might never "open up"... Governor Newsom is saying we must have a vaccine first, and I've also heard that the vaccine, if there ever is one, might not be available until next year. And, I hope that this vaccine isn't required by law. California! A few days ago I phoned Newsom's office to say I hope they judge rural counties separately from urban counties. My county had five confirmed cases and they've all recovered now.

"I notice that JiffyLube is still open, and now allows you to sit in your vehicle while they do the oil changes ..".

Thank you for this information.
Was just in contact with the local Chevrolet dealership, and was told to bring my van in on Tuesday due to their limited staff, and demand for service.
Turns out, JuffyLube's prices are far less, and even more so with their $15 off coupon easily found online.
On my way there now!

Thanks again.

Good to hear, as I posted that a month ago. I need to take my van in, but not gotten there as I've not been driving it.

Did Jiffy Lube have all the proper filters and oil "in stock" already? Did they allow you to sit in your van during the op?

Here is what I have been talking about. The "numbers" people are basing their panic and concerns on is woefully inaccurate. The statistics the government and media is shoving down our throats are not a real representation. Here they are in black and white, without manipulation. This is not a quack youtube video, this is based on the reported numbers (public data) given to us and interpreted correctly without bias or agenda.

I am not disagreeing or trying to be confrontational so take no offence at my point. Everyone has a bias, intentional or not. The question is not whether someone is bias the question is which bias is the best bias to be bias by. I think that the numbers the CDC has been touting were calculated without any midagation. ??? Again I don't want to argue, just discuss.

Well you know BMS, to anyone with a brain listening to Fauci on the news fully a month ago, it was clear his predictions of "millions of deaths" was nowhere near any of the facts coming out of other countries like China and Europe. Why the WH kept bringing him on is a mystery, especially as it ignored everything he said. So the video is just swatting a dead horse.

The other thing stressed in the video, "millons of cases and very few deaths", well I already posted a couple of days ago in the other thread about how the death rate in CA is vastly lower than in NY, 37/million versus 1060.
https://vanlivingforum.com/showthread.php?tid=39927&pid=491130#pid491130

That's not news, that's been in the tracking statistics all along. For some reason, CA has been spared the huge death rates compared to back east, NY, NJ, LA, MI, IL, PA, etc. If you go to this page and click on "Deaths / 1M pop", there are about 12 states with 3-28 times the death rate of CA. Do you want to live there? Possibly there's been an overreaction in other states, but the Governors don't want their states to become like NY, MI, or LA.

If only the scientific and medical communities could come up with a decent therapy for people who come into the emergency room, this thing may be over in a couple of months.

I have to disagree with your analysis that covid 19 is no big deal. Not enough testing has been done to know how many infections have happened and how many deaths have occurred from covid 19. When there is widespread testing and no infections, covid 19 will have been contained.

History tells us that viruses remain in the natural world, and may continue infecting people in outbreaks for some time, another good reason to live healthy. Besides death, covid also causes blood clots, kidney problems, neurological problems, and others.

Like I said before, it is more of a big deal if you are that statistic.  -crofter

I watched further in that video. The CA doctor compared Norway (lockdown) and Sweden (no lockdown) countries. His absolute numbers were all very accurate, as compared to the tracking sites, but he missed the "single most important" comparison. Norway has 37 deaths/million pop, while Sweden has 213/million, or 6 times the death rate. That's a pretty good case for at least some form of lockdown. See here.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

He keeps beating on how the absolute numbers of deaths are not in the millions, but we already know that. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that Fauci was lost in space.
