Also, remember there is a Home Depot in Lake Havasu City, the closest I believe to Quartzsite, 65 miles away. There are no doubt many in Phoenix, 100-miles away, but who wants to go there.

Last year, end of November I went down to Death Valley and it was in the high 80s the whole time I was there. You'll just have to take off that Seattle-standard down jacket! .... and get a good sun hat.

There are only about 4 people who I track on youtube, JFTHOI, two of them being jamie the van build guy and CaravanCarolyn. They are both currently in Craggy Wash at LHC, and talking about roasting in the heat, LOL. They will both have cameras glued to their foreheads, and will try to interview you. Fun.

You can't miss LHC, as US 95 goes right through it. You can bypass downtown Vegas by going through Pahrump. Craggy Wash is the turnoff to the east just half-mile north of the airport. An obvious canyon road that goes back several miles. That's the better boondocking spot around there. You'll be able to take SB in far beyond the other RVs, if you like.

Alabama Shakes, another North Alabama talent. Jason Isbell is another one, an extremely gifted singer/songwriter.

I was born in what's known as the Shoals area of N. Ala, something about that Tennessee River. Jason was raised in Muscles Shoals which is across the bridge from Florence, which is my birthplace. AS are from Athens, about 40 mi due east on 72 from Florence.

No Chicken Fried Steak tonight. Got 2 free hot dogs from the Chevron I am staying at for the night. I was pumping gas and one of the owners sons was filling his car. He said your more than welcome to stay here. Went inside and got some water and an almond joy. They said they were closing in about an hour and offered me the hot dogs. They were fresh as well.  About 75 miles north of LHS. Wake up and pick up supplies, then off to the dusty trails.

I imagine SB parked outside any store at night would look like an armed guardia station. Bad guys would think twice.

1/2 you'll have to find all the cafes in LHC with CFS, and make a list. Looks like Daddy Bears has it, just south of downtown.

LHC has a Pollo Loco which I like for their Chicken Fajita Burritos.
