Not if the chef is the real deal!

Open minded tolerance, it may just be good.

Now the pricing, that's a whole nother deal. . .

For sure. I paid $28 for a plate of crawfish etoufee in San Francisco...

Best crawfish etoufee is in Livingston Texas, sea food place close to the What-a-buger. Just outside town a little clapboard shack that has the best frog legs an fries served in a brown greasy paper bag get directions from a local or maybe at the Escapee's park office.

I remember frog legs. I used to frog gig on The Sabine when I was young. One night 3 of us harvested 120 frogs. The next day the neighborhood ladies set out the folding tables on 2 driveways. We had a feast.

MMM! red beans and rice and frog legs with homemade lemon and banana nut ice cream.

Didn't have chicken fried steak tonight, but I had a heck of a Carne Asada Dinner. When I was eating it a couple of times I had brief thoughts of how a chicken fried steak would be. Soon Baby Soon!!

I am looking more towards Arizona, Nevada, Utah. Kind of hard to throw a stone in Texas without hitting a good chicken fried steak diner.

On the border of Nevada and Oregon in a little town called Mcdermit is the Say When Casino-I don't care much for CFS but their's is delicious

Thank you so much outermostsoul. I may have to change my route a tad to  accommodate my craving.

Just edited my route, having a little stop over in Mcdermitt.

HMM then I would be like the guy and his bicycle at Jerry's, Wouldn't be able to crawl into SB.

This is not a true representation as there should be no green on this plate - unless it's fried okra.

I think you meant, unless it's "boiled" okra, which is certainly the worst tasting thing I've ever had.

Only fried okra with some ranch dressing to dip it in.  Yummy :D

I always tell the waitress "If you can see anything besides gravy on the plate, there ain't enough gravy."
