James, you should try a<strong> wholesale grocery distributor</strong> if you can buy 10 cases at a time.<br><br>10 cases is a fairly large order for a non-business entity to place from a grocery wholesaler, and most of them will be happy to sell you that amount.<br><br>I used to work for a large grocery wholesaler called SYSCO...it is one of the biggest in the USA.<br><br>Those large cans people are talking about, those are #10 cans, and they are gigantic...you would have to use all of the contents at once, or store the leftover in a sealed container.<br><br><strong>The #10 cans come 8 to a case.</strong><br>

They not only sell their brand (which is almost always the exact same product as the leading competitor, but with ugly labeling etc).<br><br>The Hispanic stores are good too. GOYA sells very nice products in cans, and the even stock the gigantic #10 cans at the ones here in Texas and Washington, last time I lived there.<br><br>But the cheapest, would be grocery wholesaler, if you really want the selection of products in unusual case and package sizes that focus on bulk customers.<br><br>I know some people might say that you MUST be a registered business entity to order the food...it is simply not true. They used to let delicious ice cream cakes go to the employees for $3 each, simply because they were out of date. You think the dates at the consumer stores are strictly monitored? Then imagine a warehouse shipping $3 million dollars A NIGHT of food out of their truck docks.<br><br>If you are not a business entity, you just have to pay them in debit/cash, or have excellent credit that they are comfortable with. Once you get the salesman on the phone line, he will be happy to sell you product. All of the SYSCO sales team is based on comission and a base rate. So, if you buy, they win. No business license needed.<br><br>They just sell things in sizes and price points that are too large and too expensive for the general consumer...those #10 cans are BIG!<br><br>There are a number of grocery wholesalers, but I actually KNOW SYSCO...used to pull orders for them. I was working with the food constantly. I know what they have, and how they manage the quality. It is worth it if you want 10 cases. <br><br>last time I was in Texas to visit family we went to some markets, there they sold a lot of bulk Mexican style foods and base foods. Another place I go up here are Asian, Caribbean and Middle Eastern Markets. They have a lot in bulk, more organic and less GMO foods there. Rice is dirt cheap in 10-25kg bags as well. Since we went over the line at Brownsville, we visited the huge Mexican Markets there, wow.. wow.. nothing like that 2 borders north! <br><br>Might try heading into the Ethnic Markets and stores, see what you can dig up. Some of the cans are larger and a much better price than the WalMart or regular Grocery Store pricing and sizes, so better deals to be had. Next time I go to a place like that, I want to pick up a Tortilla press, they make it so easy.
