Well I'm going to be running a bit late, it appears my alternator has gone out, I'm sitting in Midland TX at the Chevy Dealer.

The batteries weren’t that low this morning, 97% I went down to fuel up and went I got back in the Check Engine light was on, checked the volt gauge and the Volt gauge wasn’t showing any charge. Checked the stunt for the batteries and it was showing a discharge, have the generator running now to top off the batteries. The Dealers opens at 8:30 this morning.

Ironically, Heron, a van dweller, is in the Odessa area getting a transmission repaired.

She can be found on the 'other' vandweller forum.

Are you doing Snyder Hill BLM like most people? Nicos Mexican food place on the right on 86 just before you get to the turn off onto 286 has a walk up/drive thru (watch the over head sign over the order speaker) and pretty good cheap food. You could go out 86 to 286 and go south to the VFW on the left or go on to Caballo Loco sign on the right and pull in on the left in the gravel area or go right down the dirt road to some pull out campsites. It is about 10 miles from the turn off. Much nicer than Snyder Hill and usually the Border Patrol hangs out there in one of their transport vans or trucks so super safe. If you are heading to Ajo fill up at the intersection as it is a pretty good run to the next gas.

Well I might, I will have to move it the morning but at least I have a place to sleep ? tonight

Windy these next few upcoming days at Q, tie things down securely.

I am parked across from the YARC flag, if you look to the North you should see me. I pulled in last night and it was so dark I just found someplace to sleep for the night. It was pretty windy for a little bit it was a rocking my around.

Got up this morning and went to get some gas and checkin.

Now I'm just relaxing.

Welcome! I saw you arrive. I baked just yesterday, so it'll be a few days before your bread is ready.

I will drop by later today or maybe tomorrow to say welcome.

When they say 15 MPH they aint kidding!!! Even 15 is to damn fast!!! I was running about 10 and it was still rough.

I got lost this morning when I went for gas and found the Magic Circle. HEHE And yes I had my clothes on.

I’m right across from you. Saw your cute dog. Too windy out and besides; I can’t get up cuz there is a cat lying on me. I don’t disturb cats.

My dog saw your dog out the window and was crying but I think she’s too big to play with your little dog.

John is somewhere doing laundry. That means I will be folding clothes forever. I’ll let him know you are here when he returns.

If the wind dies down I’ll see ya but only if the cat gets off of me.

"If the wind dies down I’ll see ya but only if the cat gets off of me."

LMAO
I'm hoping the Freelander can't hear me singing along with my dancey chore playlist!

All I'm hearing is the wind blowing, its so nice and peaceful here.
