26 degrees at Caballo Loco (southern Arizona) with a light dusting of the white stuff in patches and on the vehicles. Hope everyone stays warm and freezing water lines don’t burst!

BBrrr here too in NC. Thought I was 'in the South' but nah, not South enough I guess, lol.

It’s not too bad after the sun comes out and hears things up a bit, but boy that cold wind after dark is cooold!

While we were getting snow yesterday in the Texas Panhandle, at the exact same time, down in Houston area, they were getting tornadoes...its a weird winter!

43 degrees this morning when I woke. Forty is when my hands feel too cold for comfort. The high this afternoon is predicted to be a sunny 69, that will do ☀️ But it will be a breezy so moderated with some wind chill.

It is time to go to Yuma town this morning to get groceries, mail letters at the post office, explore a bit too.

it was 38 this morning Richmond ,va .been raining all day miserable weather.
have a great day all.

18 here west of Kalamazoo but only 4" of snow on the ground. We've missed most all the bad weather this winter.

Burrr for sure.. glad i live here where we stay above -0- it was 28 this morning but above 32 now
take care

Suppose to have a low of 0°F and a high of 16°F on Sunday here in Bend. Glad to have the diesel heater.

Pleasant weather today here by Yuma. A bit nippy this morning but not so cold that I felt compelled to turn on the heater. No need for it this evening either. Making breakfast and dinner on my little butane stove was sufficient to take the slight chill off.

Quit freezing you buns off and come down south for the winters.

Bullfrog is in SE Arizona, which is farther south than Yuma, AZ, but unfortunately much higher at 3,900+ feet ASL.

Yep, it is nice today at 66 degrees but we do have some wind here 33 miles north of the border, in site of Kitts Peak Observatory. Nice being a new member as I feel young again! Lol!!!

Minus 6°F where I am now and batteries low due to the cold and running the diesel heater on high for the last couple days. The WEN 3800 inverter generator started right up but the Black and Decker 40 amp charger wouldn't work at this temperature. Plugged in the old school transformer type Harbor Freight 25 amp charger and it works fine. Sometimes high tech is beat by old school simple.

Hope everyone stays warm and freezing water lines don’t burst!
Yep.
For the past year, I had been using the simplest plumbing system possible- battery powered USB rechargable faucet with plastic tubing dropped into an AquaTainer. It was cheap, quiet, provided an appropriate amount of water, never leaked, worked at all temperatures (even in an unheated van). In short, it performed flawlessly. But apparently that wasn't good enough for me.

I decided that I wanted hot running water. Even if it cost more money. Even if it required switching to a traditional 12v water pump (adding complexity and noise). Even if it required a constant connection to a power source. Even if I let my van get too cold, and the water froze, breaking the faucet. I'm currently on the road, too busy to fix it. Guess what plumbing system I reverted back to in the interim (or maybe permanently)... Sometimes an "improvement" isn't.

^^^Yep, live and learn, I used to tease a friend of mine that lived in Colorado and fished in winter on Lake Powell in Utah about his new expensive truck and camper with a bathroom and a water tank that had never been filled or even seen any water. He said it might not freeze while I’m camping here but I live at 8,000 feet and have to drive home! He just parked close to public restrooms as it was easier than dealing with plumbing. Lol!!!
