RVP...I'm about convinced that the only way to catch sturgeon in the Columbia is from a boat. Not giving up mind you, just taking a couple days break from them and just plain fishing hahaha

This van dwelling life is tough stuff

Just checked Annual non resident fishing license fees for B.C $80 Yukon Territory $45 and Alaska $145. I've got so many fishing licenses I bought a separate wallet. :)

As a truck driver I seldom used a CB radio (too much trash talk).  However, it was a great tool to find out road conditions, traffic info, and NOAA weather broadcasts.  Sooo...picked up a handheld combination CB radio and NOAA weather receiver today for added communications in Canada.

We used one of these units in my wife's car for years, despite cb limitations, it did the job.

Note:  Canada has a similar weather broadcast network and by agreement operate on the same frequencies as NOAA.

You're sure living the good life Bob. I've had a CB in most of my vehicles since the craze of the 70s. But yeah, I pretty much only turn it on when traffic backs up or in a convoy with others - and since I generally don't like to drive in traffic anymore nor convoy, it doesn't get a lot of use anymore.

Visited the McNary Dam, Umatilla Oregon today...lots of water volume
