WE HAVE SOLAR!

<----snip---->

Holes drilled, wires run ~ goop applied ~ I will let bLEEp fill in the details.  This is is baby.  :)

NICE! :)
I see you have two six volt batteries, are they Trojan T-105's? How many watts of solar? And if I may ask, approximately what was the total cost of this solar package complete?
Thanks in advance.

I have four six volt batteries. 410 AH.
From top to bottom I spent about 2,000 that's wired and all.
I am in the midst of moving in as we speak, LOTS OF STRESS AS WE ARE SUPPOSSED TO BE OUT BY TOMORROW AND THERE WAS MUCH PROCRASTINATION.
If you need any specifics regarding the solar feel free to pm me.

That ought to do it, and thanks. About procrastination, we've all done that before, but with all that going on in your life right now, very understandable too.
By the time you read this I imagine you'll be in your new home. I hope the transition goes smoothly.

I am the MASTER PROCRASTER
probably not a good thing. Good going man, get the move done, get out, and be happy!

We are in everyone!!!
GotSmart the wife and our respective critters had a little BBQ and some beverages last night and shot the shit around a little fire with some tunes and thaaaangs. What a great time.
We put the fantastic fan in yesterday afternoon, after multiple tries we got it in and sealed up.
Since Mrs bLEEp is forum shy I am going to make a YouTube video here soon and post a link here so everyone can see what we wound up with.
It's not done, but as I have read, and is true of any custom it will forever be a work in progress for us. I am hoping to get the fan and rainbow LEDs wired up today. Once I have a better grasp on the photo thing I will do a dump of all the photos we have from start to finish.
We bought Bertha Mildred the 24th of February and have a livable, comfy home in less than one month. We did it!!!
Thank you to everyone, especially John who is a wealth of knowledge and a great new friend to us.
Enjoy the day and love your neighbors.

Congrats, awesome!
I am from Europe, so I am still trying to figure out what "shoot the shit around" means, lol. Sounds like it is something good...

shooting the shit means sitting around having conversation
aka jawing, chinning, having a chin, yapping, etc

So... basically I am a member of a Shoot-The-Shit-Around website? ;)

  Being in Texas I think you forgot, one which really surprised me.    Dried cow patty flinging and shooting.........best done if you have a clay target thrower.......simple sound suppressors like in the movie "Second Hand Lions"......kitchen pot holders tied over the ears.   CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?   :D

Here are a few of our current spot....
The tree frogs were deafening last night, and the moon through the skylight...
Just wow.

Other people told you what the phrase means, but no one mentioned that the phrase is "shoot the shit".  It does not include the word "around".  In Bleep's original sentence, he was also telling us where he shot the sit (had the casual conversation) -- around (at) a little fire (campfire).

Thanks Tom for shooting the shit at me :D
Three years in the US and still learning English every day.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I think it was the very first week at work. My boss told me "Yes, that's it. You nailed it!". I had to google "to nail" and of course I thought 'urban dictionary' is an ordinary online dictionary... I had to ask a co-worker why the heck my boss would say something like that. He couldn't stop laughing.
