So is there an update on this Campground? The link doesn't work for me.
Steve
The link is dead. Not sure why they let it die.
Located on US HWY 95 near the intersection of Nevada 373 & US HWY 95. Across from Alien 51 Travel Center. The front facing the highway is "Fort Amargosa" which is closed for now.
Google maps has some weird ideas about the geographic location of the RV park address, 2642 US HWY 95. Google mislocates it on the opposite side of the highway and north by two or three miles. "Amargosa Valley Rest Area" is correctly located just north of the RV park at the intersection of NV 373 and US 95. I submitted the correction for the RV park to Google.
$220 plus electricity @ 0.1174/kilowatt for a month.
Non-resident showers are $5, tent site is $10, RV dump $10, one night RV is $21.40.
The park has had a new resident manager since 01/01/2016. Phil is cool and low key, but hard working. He is doing the maintenance that had been neglected by the less than enthusiastic former manager. Phil was actively gold mining in the area in the past.
The current RV park rent receipt does not have the physical address on it. The DMV will want to see a physical address. The USPS does not deliver to the physical address of the RV park, they deliver to a set of boxes in front of "the old fort". Others have gotten around this by using a form for one resident of the park to attest that the other does reside at the physical address and visa versa. The Pahrump DMV tech you speak to may or may not mention this form. (My "favorite" tech did not mention it. Instead instructed me to get an affidavit from the owner, who resides in China).
I now use as my address a combination of the box address and the physical address, including my parking spot "color number", that covers UPS/Fedex/bank requirements for a physical address and the USPS requirement for a mailing address.

AMARGOSA VALLEY, NV 89020
There was a older couple resident here, who had caused problems for some other residents. They have gone back to Oregon for the summer.
NV 373 takes one to Death Valley Junction, CA, from there one can go to Death Valley or take a back way to Pahrump.
The nearest Walmart, Smiths, Albertsons, UPS Store, CVS, Home Depot, is in Pahrump, 50 miles one way on US 95 and NV 160. The nearest DMV is also there. It is slow though. I prefer a longer drive to Tonopah, where there is almost no wait time. (Pahrump > 4 hours, Las Vegas is even worse) The drive is just under two hours so it is a wash in time, but I keep getting the same tech in Pahrump, who won't make any transaction easy.
There is a lot to see and do with in a half day drive around here. Death Valley, Rhyolite, Goldfield, Big Dune, Ash Meadows, just to name a few. Across 95 is the Nevada Test Site. North of NTS is the Nellis AFB test range. Occasionally I see and hear some interesting aircraft. Sometimes flying low on the civilian side of 95. Recently, two USAF A-10 Thunderbolt/Warthogs were practicing ground level runs between 373 and the Big Dune area. I was riding my dual sport on the rollers on Racetrack road (a named dual track across the desert floor) when one A-10 flew into my field of vision. First I thought a large bird (has happened that a bird has flown just ahead of me for a ways), then a RC model, then the realization that it was a full size aircraft pulling up and banking away. There is a back road (Chloride Road) to Chloride City in Death Valley from US 95 for off road vehicles only, or excursion RVs, the road ends at the Keane Wonder Mine. From there I think one can get to Daylight Pass road to get around to the paved roads in Death Valley.
