I've been waiting such a long time for tomorrow. Searching religiously on Craigslist for years waiting for the one bus / van / box truck / Sprinter that really jumps out at me. And I finally found it!

What's that vent on the bottom drivers side behind the drivers door?
Is there a generator in there?

That has to do with the AC unit that's on the ceiling in the back of the bus

That's similar to the van I have, should give you plenty of headroom and room in back in general. Mine also has the walk-up passenger door which to me is a bit of a conundrum. It's really great for access in and out of the rig and I seriously like that but it does create a low spot for ground clearance. Mine's a one ton and  sits high with a foot of clearance everywhere except under the door where the foot well box is welded in  it's about 5 inches and depending on how you travel might restrict some off pavement use. Eh, pros and cons, good luck and all the best best with your project.

So many things to consider! I had never even thought of that thanks for the input.

If you can source some insurance to cover it, go for it.

Awesome! You going to keep the designs on the outside?
