97 ford

So I braved the cold and headed out to the wally and through the rain and darkness I spotted a hightop van.. with a for sale sign in the window!

I just gave the guy a call and will go check it out tomorrow..hoping some of you may  have any insight on a 97 ford 150 with 155 thousand miles on it.

They are asking 3500 for it.

I have no idea as to what is good or bad about these rigs.

Aren't the 97 and later Fords until 2006 or so, that have the problem with the spark plugs?

I bought my 97 E150 in 2014. It had 117,000 miles on it. It was well maintained and I have had no issues with spark plugs or anything else. It's been cross country 4 or 5 times. It's got 134,000 miles now. Although, I'm not traveling at the moment it starts every time and rides just fine.
