Really nice vans to drive. Well made. To bad about the trans issue. You could check out some Honda forums or Bob is the oil guy forum. I believe certain additives may help. Not a lot of room in them but they would be pretty stealthy....
I like using a product called Lubegard Red. It's suppose to keep your tranny running cooler and cleaner. It's recommended by some transmission re-builders and even some car manufacturers....

Bob recommends the 68 watts uni solar roll up stick on solar but they have since gone out of business is there a comparable product to the uni solar that anyone can recommend. The idea being for stealth.
Wonder how that renogy bendable panel would work? It's not even a quarter of an inch.

I think Bob was referring to the CF-11 which is pretty tiny. I decided not to buy it as I think it's more for keeping pop cold and maybe picnic trips...
I would have to buy smaller less economical packages of foodstuffs which might make the purchase more expensive in the long run. I'll have to think this one out and maybe see if they'll let me open one up and put some groceries inside!
Thank you SternWake. It sounds like a good deal and I wouldn't need much solar power. Now I just have to figure out exactly what I can cram into 11 quarts. ..

What do you folks think about a Dometic cdf-11? I have an opportunity to buy one new for $249. I know they are tiny at 11 quarts but I would mostly be using it for keeping milk a bit of cheese and a few eggs cold.
Yeah, unless you spend a good amount of time on this forum or you're a van dweller, or police/security, you probably don't look for stuff like that. I have seen some work cargo vans with vents on top. I believe there are repairmen, etc, who actually do want some fresh cooler air circulating...
Every time I see pics of a cargo van being insulated I wonder if there would be benefit in insulating the small space in the ribs of the van? Was thinking you could duct tape the openings and squeeze some of that aerosol insulation in a can stuff to fill in that small gap. It might only make an...
I've had success with synthetic, always have a clean and smooth running engine. I've also been using some stuff called tufoil....

Unity, you might want to check out some no name smart phones. They're a fraction of the price and many of them are every bit as good as the brand names. I recently bought an Alcatel and it works better than my old S2 which only lasted a year. I paid $49 no contract. My next phone will be...
Was talking to a coworker who is living in condo, and she and her fiancée are paying $500 a month for strata. I couldn't believe it. This is for a newer building in a working class area here in the interior of British Columbia. Property taxes are continuing to climb as well. The average...
These are some great pics folks... Kurbmaster is that a real fireplace you have in your rig? Does it burn any kind of wood, and do you mind if I ask what brand and where you bought it. It must have been a bit of a job to put a proper chimney in, but it's very impressive looking. We've got...
