    Just got home from RTR

Well, I just got home from the RTR. Only there about 4 days which is not nearly long enough. The amount of people was a bit overwhelming. I didn't get on the forum at when I was there. I should have because there is a bunch of you that I really would have liked to meet. The only one I met was...

    Anyone in or near Tucson?

With RTR just around the corner I'm curious if anyone is here in Tucson area. I live (when not in Utah) off Hwy 86, or rather Ajo (the road). I see lots of people boon docking by Schneider Hill which is very close to me.

No more Bank or America for me

Wow, I'm very happy that this thread has brought about some help and knowledge to others! I don't get worked up about too many things but my hatred towards B of S...I mean B of A, is a genuine loathing. Part of the reason I stayed with them is for the perceived convenience of them having so many...

No more Bank or America for me

Or should I say no more "Bank of Satan". This Christmas break I'm finally home in Az long enough to switch banks. I won't get into all the reasons why I switched but just from a moral or principal point of view, I feel its important. I was tired of using the excuse of saying it's "convenient"...

Anyone know their New Year's Resolutions yet?

Ok, after I respectfully read everyone else's resolutions I will contribute mine. But first I want to express how impressed I am with "Every road leads...". I generally try to do the same thing but he reconfirms how beneficial it is in so many respects. We buy so mindlessly right now. Anyway...

    New Fourwheel Popup user

Hey JChapman, Hope to run into ya at the RTR. We can chat about the different experiences of coast to coast bicycle travel...I just completed my Oregon to Maryland trip last summer. Do you happen to know the dates you plan on attending? I'm not exactly sure what days yet I'll be there. Matt

    Life happens

You loaded up your trailer to go get your son and his vehicle in less than desirable conditions. This is after your son did what he could to try and fix it in less than desirable conditions. People like you guys are what makes America already great. And by that I mean taking care of problems...

    WOOHOO! I'm Divorced!

Every Road Leads Home, I  have been asking myself that very same question. In fact, it's almost like my own personal hobby to ask questions about things in society that are so ingrained we never even think to question them. (I'm sure most here can identify with this statement) By asking myself...

    WOOHOO! I'm Divorced!

To my non-married ears, these are horror stories! I feel like its not even worth the risk to get married. Even if everything checks out in the beginning, things can change. Although, many marriages are easily predictable that they'll end in divorce. Whats surprising is that even though the...

best van to get - advice wanted

I'm a huge fan of the Newer Ford Transit Connects. I finally rented one and drove it from Tucson to Coos Bay, Or. I slept in it on the way up. What a fantastic vehicle! At least IMO. To answer some of Bobs questions: You find two different lengths in the vans. They make a short and long...

The Fatal Flaw of Mercedes Benz Sprinters

I feel that I could add a substantial amount of researched knowledge here without sounding like a know-it-all. But, it can get kinda deep and technical and go different directions on these topics of which 4wd drive system is the one of choice and why, and diesel vs gas. But, as we all know it...

    Auto360 is good people.

Thanks for kudos all. Honestly I'm just happy to feel useful. Spending months in Utah with no tools and hence no projects is hard for me. Anyway, this offer extends to everyone here. Give me a heads up of when and what and we'll see if I can help. This stuff is fun for me. BTW- I'm in Tucson

    Prefab camper kits $4700

Umm, not to put a downer on this but there was a review of the Sprinter vs the Transit (fullsize) and the promaster. They really, really disliked the Promaster. Actually, they nicknamed it the "Sadness master". I think it would best to advise some more research if going Dodge...
