    RWD/AWD is there a way...

Yeah, when I did a search to find the mpgs for the 2500 it brought up a 2500 model with AWD for the example so that's what brought the question up. I don't know whether someone well-versed in vans can tell by looking at them, and am curious.

    RWD/AWD is there a way...

Is there a way to tell just by looking whether it's RWD or AWD? I might be missing it but I don't see where it says on this ad...

Using Bear Proof Trash Can as Food Locker

If my van is a rocking.....there's a bear under there! Hehehe :D Also... Smarter than the average bear, ay Booboo. :D Protecting the bears from becoming nuisance bears is important, though.

Using Bear Proof Trash Can as Food Locker

I read it that way too, but, other than yuck factor (one could be cleaned) I was curious. Seems like it could be an economical way in that situation to protect the food and the bears. Americans have to overcome many societal yuck factors for the lifestyle unless they manage to have a rig with...

Using Bear Proof Trash Can as Food Locker

HDR, what if it were a brand new never used trash can?

Roof Tent. How easy to get in and out?

^^^what he said. I think they are cool---for kids. If I wrote your second sentence I would have convinced myself they aren't for me, though the last part could be worked around with a pee jug or something. Might I ask why you would be considering them? If it's the bears I think being on the...

    What's so fantastic about FFs?

Your fine print is a little small so you may still get rocks! :P I had to squint to read it on my laptop. Don't know anything about the fans to comment on. :P

Hello! L.A.-lien dying on the vine here and in need of adventure! ;-)

Welcome! :) It's great that your Love is supportive of your need. I love the Sedona area but I don't have any tips as it's been a while since I've been there. Enjoy! :)

    Hello to all! I'm new.....

Welcome! :) I've finally gotten rid of my last roommate---daughter has flown the nest---so I'm looking forward to some ME time. It does make sense, especially for people with larger rigs, to share expenses if money is tight. I haven't read anything from anyone who does though. Hmm. Wonder if...

    excited and undecided

Welcome! :) I understand what you mean about RV parks. I stayed in my in-laws deluxe hotel room on wheels years ago in an RV park in FL---felt like I was in a fish bowl. I guess it would be great for sociable people who like having close neighbors but it's not for me. Maybe someday if I have...

Girls' Room Chit Chat Jumble Thread

Didn't get all my errands in, but...BUT...found my glasses when I got home from driving in my old ones. :D I had put them on the shelf above where I usually put them so I didn't knock them off with grocery bags. LOL Found them when I just happened to be standing there and they were at eye...

    Cargo trailers and toxic plywood

There is more off-gassing when things are new but it's a lot more complicated than just buying used if someone has to deal with any of the illnesses where it is a factor. Sensitivities are individual so what would work for one won't work for another, and may not work for that first person at a...

GIRLS' ROOM: People who want to go with you

My daughter and I have a good relationship but I wouldn't even let her "come with" unless it was just for a vacation of no more than a month or she had her own rig. At this point if she needed a place to stay or I needed a place to stay I'd work to avoid us living in the same space if at all...

Girls' Room Chit Chat Jumble Thread

Doh! Why didn't I think of that! I had made my errand list earlier and was going to go to town. Remembered my glasses are missing so put it off since I was going to have to hobble around to different offices in the court house. I wonder if I can see well enough in my old glasses to go...

    Cargo trailers and toxic plywood

Welcome. :) Figured I'd explain sick building before someone asked. I'd never heard of it until after I was diagnosed. Dawned on me after posting that MCRS is a combo of 2 things I have---MCS and Can't Remember S**t! Got a big chuckle out of that. :D Speaking of which, the CRS got me and I...

    Cargo trailers and toxic plywood

It's MCS---Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Somebody like me, with MCS or asthma, has to be a lot more careful than a regular person. For most people you can pick and choose whether or not something is a concern for you and just do your best, seal things that are a concern. That being said, I...
