The "IF" Thread For 2117 RTR

Sounds cool. :) I won't be able to be there but I think it's great. Some of the best stitchers I've known were guys---self-taught so they could redo automotive upholstery for themselves. LOL One turned it into his career by word of mouth.

    Door math?

Law of diminishing returns.  Not a quitter, just not invested in finding your answer for you when I am already satisfied with the answers given.  You're not satisfied so you find the proof. Speaking of predictable---that would be your response.  You'll have to carry on amusing yourself on this...

Building solar setup around a toaster oven?

Phooey! :( I use some polymer clay stuff in jewelry-making. I was hoping. Maybe since it's so much smaller than sculpture it *could* work. I'll have to experiment with solar oven when I have one and get a chance.

GIRLS' ROOM!!! Hi ladies, new to the forum, and would enjoy

'Magic' Hehehe I'm gonna swipe that cause it's true for me too. :P Hi abby, love the name and dunno why I didn't think of it first. :P I learned to do a lot of things traditionally thought of as guy stuff---I was fortunate that nobody told me I couldn't do it so I just did it. It's amazing...

Building solar setup around a toaster oven?

I wonder if there's a way to bake clay in a solar oven? Might be another option at least for sunny days. Seems that DIY solar ovens don't cost much to make either. Just an idea from someone who's curious.

    Door math?

So why don't you find those authoritative online sources then and you can report back to us. :D It really only took 1 post---#2 and then got clarified in #7 since there was still confusion. The rest was mostly just conversation around the subject.

    Door math?

ArtW, yep, you did. :) Perzacly. Yet still there was wonder whether data or conjecture so I figured I'd explain again in different way. :D Must be a regional or state thing on the ads about showing the rear passenger doors. So far every ad around here that shows more than one pic shows the...

moving into a camper in a week (cali resident)

Unless you have to file quarterly for some reason or have an alternative tax year you don't have to sweat the tax stuff yet. If you don't know what I was just talking about you don't have to worry about tax stuff yet. You have a few months. By the way if you get a refund check you can have it...

    dry milk anyone use it??

Have you done it with hot liquid then? I know the dry milk I use takes a bit more stirring than powdered creamer stuff. I haven't tried coconut milk in my coffee but I do enjoy coconut oil in my coffee upon occasion where I want coffee with a bit more je ne sais quoi. Helps me get enough...

    CL / PayPal ripoff?

Thanks ERLH. I've got items that require hauling that I had thought about CL for but I really don't really want strangers in my home. Maybe for smaller items that are portable, but I think I'll find another way to sell antique furniture. Good to know about the phone versus email and bargaining.

    CL / PayPal ripoff?

If you do the deal at a bank, can't you just have the bank check the currency? Totally clueless which is one of the reasons I don't use CL to buy or sell anything yet.
