The "First" supper...everything we own in the world is now in the van.  For the record, the menu was Iam's Adult for the girls and a Subway Black Forest Ham for me.  Launch day, too tired to cook.

The girls are traveling well.  Have them in a screened soft pen secured with seatbelt to passenger seat.

:) Great conversation with a retired couple who have lived up and down the river for the last 14 years onboard the "Gambler" a 2 story stern wheeler.

One of my favorite meals...sardine and Swiss sub; a little mustard and a side of tata salad.

Plenty of space, even with a gallon of water and a gallon of ice tea in it.

Those dogs aren't working nearly hard enough.

You got that right LOL and after 8 years of slacking I don't think they ever will.

So, Bob, how are you feeling? Still in the throes of exhilaration, or starting to settle in more?

Feeling FANTASTIC !!!  I spent 22 years driving truck throughout the US and Canada and loved it, but this????  No list of chores to go home to and being able to chose my own destinations and where/how long I want to stop is just FANTABULOUS!!!  The girls and I are all settled in to a routine of "no routine" and "no plan"....just enjoying the moment.

Have a couple things to take care of back home this week then...who knows where.
