I used to be active on multiple forums but as they've slowed down I only have a few left.  For me:

- Facebook, I have a tiny account with almost no friends and use it to keep up with business and causes I follow.

- CRVL, even though I'm not out on the road I enjoy hanging out here and interacting, nice group of folks for the most part.

- Team Estrogen, a womens bicycling forum.  It's mostly dead now, but I still check in now and then.

- The Liberal Gun Club, quality active forum, but since I don't enjoy discussing politics of any stripe, I don't visit as often as I used to.

- Used to do TONS of RV forums, but they tend to speak to a lifestyle I'll never see.

So, whatcha got?  Anyplace fun and interesting you hang out at when you have available data??

A few:

CRVL, of course

Survivalist Boards, a very active board with empahsis on prepping, homesteading and self-sufficiency. I avoid the politics

WhiteBlaze, another very active forum that focuses on hiking and backpacking, predominantly on the Appalachian Trail, but plenty of other hiking info

Escapees, mostly use for advice and recommendations since I have a fifth wheel

Very limited: FB, Escapees, RV.net and TNTTT.net. The only ones I spend serious time on are CRVL and City-Data.com Most of my internet time is spent googling for info, the world at my fingertips!

Facebook mostly. I love talking politics as do many of my friends. Facebook groups are good for that too.

Twitter but there mostly as a means to take customer service issues after I have tried other routes.

Next Door, this has made me lean towards not selling my house and renting it out while I park my van in the backyard. I just absolutely love my neighbors. For instance on NextDoor there is a huge discussion about a wild Turkey who has claimed territory at a roundabout intersection. She chases pedestrians, stands in the middle of the road and blocks traffic, and often just hangs out in the center of the roundabout. Some people love the turkey and some people hate her. I love the passion on both sides and find the whole thing hysterical.

A local political blog where again the comments section is hysterical. My favorite recent discussion was about a store that moved their business from Ann Arbor and sells $125 juice cleanses resulting in a great debate where someone finally said, "I just don't think we are a $125 juice cleanse kind of town" followed by a poll where 0% said they were going to go buy a juice cleanse.

When motorcycling was my life, I spent endless hours on ADVRider and other MC sites, now that I can't ride anymore I've lost interest or at times, it's too painful.

CRVL is my newest and shiniest obsession!

Facebook keeps me connected to friends and family throughout the world.

Twitter for football mostly!

LinkedIn for editing purposes.

I would instagram, but my phone won't take anymore apps!

Youtube is an obsession now days too...

These days CRVL is my main hangout.

I also hangout a bit on the American Adventurist forums.  I used to spend some time over on Expedition Portal, but it got too big and impersonal for my taste.

I look over the Escapees forum occasionally, and I've seen Dune Elliot there.  Like Queen, I gave up on the mainstream RV forums.  Mostly married couples in large, expensive motorhomes traveling from one paid campground to another.

Since buying my Ford Superduty, I check in daily with the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum, primarily the Superduty and 6.2 Engine sub-forums, but also the towing and 4X4 sub-forums.  Always somehing to learn.

I really keep intending to get more involved with a photography forum like Luminous Landscape or Nature Photographer's Network, but I never seem to get around to it

CRVL
A couple of Usenet forums about politics and weapons
Military.com
Leatherneck.com
Got kicked off of Polaris' chat when I referred to Polaris as a POS. They took offense.

Guess I should add Facebook to my list.

For me it's the best and easiest way to stay in touch with friends and family who all live in different corners of the country and the world

Instagram
I enjoy photography and I enjoy viewing other photographers work.

Facebook allows me to be lazy, I don't have to email friends that I have arrived or moved on, I just post and everyone knows.

A forum for the autoimmune disease I have, it is nice to speak to others who have the same health issues and get or give advice.

And CRVL is my newest. I have been full time 9 months and I have learned more from the RTR and this forum than I ever learned on my own.

I spent months on BoneSmart when I had my knee replacement, excellent place to learn and share info about joint replacement. Although it can also scare the living hell out of you when someone starts posting about complications.

CRVL
NY Gun Forum
ZombieHunters.org
Twitter

Not a facebooker anymore. Nothing more than regurgitated garbage day in, day out. People getting panties in a knot over opinions.

Daily, I am on three.
CRVL.

Gunandgame. Great site for talking firearms, hunting, politics (it tends towards the Right, fair warning), and general topics.

A small site of likeminded crusty old conservative curmugeons, membership by invitation only.

Many other forum sites concerning guns, automotive, RV/TT/Camping, prepping, etc. But I only check in there anywhere from weekly to "once in a blue moon".

Social media sites..... I avoid like the plague. Had bad times there, no need to revisit that Hell. Family and friends have five other ways to contact me as necessary.

On rare occasions, I pop into a couple Liberal sites, just to keep an eye on "the Others".

Facebook...just family and actual friends. Great way to keep in touch

YouTube...store videos to free up space on my phone, and to share with family and friends. No talking, no intro, just footage to bring a photo more to life

CRVL....interact with likeminded people.

Aside from this I use Facebook, where i'm pretty active on a few groups within, a homesteader's group and knife & gun group, Youtube, Sawmillcreek (a woodworking forum) and that's about it. I occasionally look on other Forums but not active on them, like expedition portal.

Social media is an incredible time sink. Way too much time reading.

YouTube comments on videos some times leads to good information.

Amazon reviews of items can also lead to alternatives.

Facebook has some items for sale, but definitely keep in touch with a few key relatives and friends that way.

Forgot another one, I visit the US Masters Swimming forum too, but since I don't compete anymore I only drop in on days I swim, kind of a motivator.

I haven't had much time to be online but when I am...

CRVL for obvious reasons.

My forum where you can discuss pretty much anything as long as you are nice to fellow members.  If not the HBIC(me) can become a flaming B.  While I'm more liberal any political ideology is welcome as long as they are factual and objective.  There's too many other sites for blind and misleading speculation or political bullying that I don't allow it there.

The Liberal Gun Club, yes we exist and no we don't have control of or take responsibility for the others.

I used to read usconstitution.net a lot until the owner died and the board shut down.

I log in briefly to facebook on occasion but I don't like how threads are managed. It's confusing to me and good discussions easily lost. Meh.
