As more of the counties in WA state are lessening the Covid 19 restrictions some of the developed NFS (National Forest Service) campgrounds are becoming open as of today June 5 and then some more open in Mid June.

Here is a link to the web page for the Covid 19 information on what NFS campgrounds (developed campsites) are currently open in WA state. You need to click on the link to the information and alerts for the various forest areas and then there are more links under trails/campground roads for more specific locations to click on to see what campgrounds are now open and what is closed. Of course this is still all in transition for some months to come. Remember this is not about dispersed camping, that part is already open.

Hopefully sometime later in the summer I will be able to get out there full time enjoying the forest camping,  as well.
