Thank you for letting me join. I am a single male 61yr old who wants to live in my pull behind wolfpup pull behind camper.

The Winter Time In The North East Is Terrible So, I Am Interested In Being A Nomad And Move To A Warmer Location On A Seasonal Basis.

Looking for a mentor who is located near
My location.

Scared To Take The First Step To
Living In My Camper.

Financially Stressed And Need To Find Peace Of Mind And Supportive Friends In Same Situation.

Thank you
Gene

I'm sure you figured it out when when you were 1, and it's just like that... you try, you fall, you get up again, repeat... SUCCESS!

Most are in SW AZ this time of year, so heading south and then west would be a good direction to head. Some like INTJohn winter in FL, but I don't know his secret for making that work.

Best wishes to you!

Hi, Thank You

I read someplace recently that if something feels too hard or scary, it's becase the first step is too hard. Start with baby steps! Like Tony said, start with a short trip ... even just a weekend trip ... even just staying overnight in your camper in your own driveway. (Or, if you've already done those, whatever is the next step up from what you've already done.)
Some things you can't figure out with pencil and paper, you have to just try them and see how they play out. You're testing yourself but you're also testing nomad life, whether it is the right thing for you. If it's not, something else will be.
Also, ain't nothing wrong with fear. Fear is nature's way of telling you to pay attention. True, sometimes I feel like fear is nature's way of telling me to take my blankie and hide under the bed. 🤪However, there are dust bunnies and eventually I have to come out and do something anyway. Only you know how far to push yourself, and when. You are in charge. But don't be afraid of fear.
Good luck!
