Hey all, it's been quite awhile since I've been around. Fear has regrettably kept me away from this life style but I've decided to get out of my own way. We've been looking at a few vans recently and have already started the down sizing of stuff. I should say Linsey has started the downsizing of stuff. I already live out of a single backpack. We're really looking forward to looking at some vans in the near future and I personally can't wait to start converting it for our needs. This van seems to be her favorite so far and I like it as well. I was wondering what you guys thought of it as neither of us know much about cars. I've already contacted the seller to get some more info and pictures as well.

http://southcoast.craigslist.org/cto/3136547421.html

Hopefully we find a van soon and will see you all at the RTR come January.

Yea the prices up here haven't been too bad thankfully.

Unfortunately the owner of that van never got back to me. Nor did the one we tried after. But we're still looking! Will be looking through a few more ads and dealerships when I finish typing this . Wish us luck!

Eh it's no big deal, the right one will come! The RTR is a yearly gathering of people who love this life style up in Quartzite Arizona. We're really looking forward to it . http://www.cheapgreenrvliving.com/Rendezvous.html

That is soooo cool man. Thanks! Looks like something I would really enjoy!

You just missed a mini RTR in Lexington over the weekend. Several of us not far from you.

Just a little advise I was given by my mechanic... Only flush transmissions on any vehicle one year or less... What happens is that all the old fluid and crap in the pan are flushed through the tranny and cause havick if not destroys a transmissions seals and bearings... Don't be suckered in to that high priced flush no matter what... To change fluid in the transmission first get the correct type and amount of tranny fluid, buy a new gasket and filter and a good sized pan to catch the old... Undue the pan bolts on the tranny, drain the fluid, replace the filter, replace the gasket and put it back together and refill... simple, easy, cheap, and can be done anywhere...
