Hey everyone-

We're going to be going through South Dakota and while looking through Campendium and freecampsites
we found a bunch of places.
I was wondering if anyone had any places that they've been to in SD that they liked and might want to
turn us on to.

We're headed toward Rapid City from Minnesota.

Hello!! Unca_T  South Dakota is very expansive and populated mid western U.S state. This is best place for tourists where are the black hills, National parks and Mount Rushmore for fun. i would say there are many best places for free camping like, Picnic spring campground, Robaix lake, 
Castle Peak RD campsites, Bear Butte lake and French creek Campground. These places are really amazing for camping. These campsites are spacious and wonderful.
