Well it's time for my solar installation and I took a few photos. I'm in Missouri with Getsmart who is doing the installation. I ordered what he told me to get from Renogy and it arrived here in a few days. The heat is terrible and I'm staying in a state park for the AC and ease. Abuelaloca will be coming in tonight for the weekend and Bleep is also somewhere in the park.

My battery could not be in a worse place. As this next pic shows its way in the back, under my bed in the far corner so anytime I want to get to that battery I have to take my whole mattress off. I've been sleeping on the fold out sofa and that ain't right

The other battery will have to go in my storage bay but right on the other side of the wall between the two batteries. Pic later. Too hot to go out.

Just wondering if they are charging you to install and if you care to indulge that info.

Yes, this is a paid job and you'll need to ask Getsmart what he charges because it depends on a lot of factors. I will say he's very fair and I've asserted my woman's privileges by seeing he's fed, watered and takes cooling off breaks in the AC. He doesn't want beer but I asked. However, Abuelaloca and I will open a bottle of wine tonight and he will be stuck watching two silly women.

Did you see what Getsmart did abuelaloca? He spilled pot roast, potatoes, carrots and gravy all over himself and my sheet on the sofa! See that big spot? I have to sleep in gravy!

Thanks Xfile I bought it with the floor already in. I did change a bunch of things though. That sofa wasn't there but I didn't like a dinette

Where are you doing all this stuff?  I'm going to Indiana next weekend to give my sister a break; my Mom's in hospice care and my sister is wore out so it's my turn for a while.  I'll be going  I-44 thru the whole state of Missouri.  Be nice to shake a few new hands and put faces with names.

Closeanuf we are in Colombia MO at a state park but will be cleared out by the time you come through. Well, I will be but the others are nearby and perhaps will speak up. Sorry I won't be here but I gotta get back to Kentucky to physical therapy and to plan my next great escape. I go to Zacatecas, Mexico and Juarez for a few weeks next month.

We're up on I-70 but it wouldn't be out of your way to come up here on your way to Indiana... Just come up through the lake! I-70 goes straight to Indianapolis!

Dang a delay..... the pass thru part that the lines run thru from the panels to the inverter is missing. The post office has lost it so another has to be ordered and sent so I'm delayed a couple more days. That's fine, good spot with AC, real good group of fun people [emoji16]
