Anyone have 1?
Use 1?
Want 1?
Know about them?

I had never heard of a wireless solar power bank until a couple days ago when I found one laying in the sand at the beach. Someone obviously lost it and at first I thought it was another of the numerous lost cell fones I’ve found exploring a beach.

Seeing the built in solar panel on it immediately realized this ain’t no fone. Wha iz dis thing?

When I returned to the van I googled what this thing is and VOILA! I thought this seems like it could be a handy lil gadget I might find some use for. Sooo I haven’t thrown it away and it has a very nice built in flash light that alone makes it worth keeping.

bch bum jonny

Another version of a Mophie, a portable power pack for recharging cell, etc.
Prolly works so all you need is the correct amp charger when your out of the sunshine.
Google says you can download or just read an on-line manual. I'm thinking you have a few cords laying around so you can check if it's holding a charge.
I have a couple 20,000 mAh power packs, both use a wall wart. Hardly ever use them though.

I've seen power banks that used cordless tool battery packs. Bob Wells reviewed some of them, but they weren't solar power recharged. Used 18 vdc 175 watt batteries that snapped in place. I don't know any more about them than that.

Everything worx great on that one I found. Battery
Must’ve been almost dead as it took almost 5 hours to charge. The green lights work; the blue charge light indicators work. Wireless cell charger worx and the flashlight worx very nice.

I can see where it might be a handy gadget for a hiker or backpacker to charge a cell fone. The thing I like about it the most is it has a great lil flashlight.
Now that I know what it is and its functions, etc; outside of the flashlight it’s really kind of useless for my situation as I have plenty of options in the van to charge anything I care to and if it wasn’t for the very nice flashlight I would either give the thing away or just toss it in a trash can.

🤷🏻‍♂️
