IMO, too small for anything except heating the smaller sizes of TV dinners.

And way too light on information - nothing about wattage, length of time to heat anything, maximum/minimum temp settings etc. etc.

Cute product, good marketing spiel.

Me, I'd pass even if it were a birthday gift.

Happy Birthday BTW

almost a st patty's bday. if you get it let us know how it works. highdesertranger

It is stated as 45 Watts, no on/off switch, takes about an hour to heat most foods that fit in it.

for something of that design I wonder why not something larger and a little hotter?

I saw somewhere where somebody was using a heating pad in an insulated lunch box, might be more heat, and with a couple of settings and an on/off switch.

In my van I usually just use either a coleman style folding oven, or a dutch oven. These seem to have much more flexibility and don't require any shore power.

Why not a 12 volt "truckers oven" and skip the inverter.

This one seems to be aimed more at the office crowd market...take your 'tv' dinner lunch, plug it in at 11, eat lunch at noon' rather than the mobile market.

Yes, I agree, for mobile use, there are more energy efficient ways to go.

You can buy a 110vAC toaster oven starting at about $26 via Amazon and you can get a nice convection oven for $60

As far as that goes, you can get a small 700watt micro for the same price as the convection. Get the micro and the convection and you have all your electrical cooking needs covered.

The thing you linked to is another one of those things that I think falls into the "toy" category rather than something you want to depend on using daily.
