The recent post about clearance and boondocking in a minivan reminded me of something I would very much like to learn more about, and RTR might be a place to explore that.
That would be self rescue. Getting unstuck. Getting out of soft sand. Getting out of a rut once high centered. Getting off of a rock. I have read posts but I am a learn by seeing and doing kind of person. I would love a hands on workshop with actually getting a vehicle out of sand, or out of a rut. I'd like to see and work with the straps, winches, attachment points, jacks, blocks etc. What to do, and what not to do. What's the most out vulnerable part of the undercarriage.
Any other interest?
Anybody interested in demonstrating what they carry?
