Ok. I have a set of LED Rope-lights. I wish to somehow get them attached to the ceiling in my Chevy HHR.&nbsp;<div>I thought of using staples, but the diameter of the pvc surrounding the lites is too great.</div><div>Can anyone help me?</div><div>Thanks in advance-</div>

Well, I <i>think </i>small cup hooks might work.&nbsp;<div>My only main concern is the headliner is like a low-compressed&nbsp;Styrofoam-material where the hooks might tear out.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Oh, BTW, I forgot to tell everyone that my little Chevy HHR got "rammed" by a Dodge Ram today while at a stop light. Everyone's gotta be in a flippin' hurry <img src="/images/boards/smilies/frown.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">&nbsp;</div><div>Sadly, I've only owned the wagon for three weeks!</div>

Sadly, that's ALWAYS when someone hits my car, just after I buy it! Unbelievably, that has happened to me 3 times! So I just started buying USED cars!! &nbsp;Haven't gotten hit since, knock on wood! And yes, you are right, everyone is in a big hurry all the time. Also, you might consider using some kind of push pins, they look like staples from a staple gun but longer. You can get them at wal mart in the fake flower dept., just ask one of the ladies in the fabric dept. where they are if you can't find them. They will probably hold well in that styrofoam stuff. &nbsp;By the way, if they are too long just use some wire cutters and cut them to the length you need.

Thanks Judy.
Looks like my car is a candidate for a total loss. The bodyshop said it's highly likely it is unrepairable <img src="/images/boards/smilies/frown.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

<br><br>staples can still work for ya, just use cable ties to secure the rope lights to the staples, also gives you the option to remove the light but leave the staples to attach other things down the road.<br><br>
