Well i got a newer van. PM 118 low roof. I will fit in the garage with a maxxfan on top. Will have to pull the antenna down with a string.
First thing i found out was not many windows for the 118", but i did find some. The bulkhead was slapped in with the non bulkhead B pillar trim so I have to find that. I think this van will fit my style of going into smaller areas.

Congratulations on your new van. That is a major step forward towards more fun 🤩

I really like the PM 118. I don't understand why more folks don't choose it for a DIY build instead of a minivan. It's just as maneuverable, but a whole lot more spacious. It is so under appreciated in the US, I fear Promaster may stop making it. In Europe, the chassis (called Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, or Citroen Relay) is available as a low roof or high roof. There are full fledged factory made campervans built on the platform. I don't understand why RV companies in the US ignore the 118.

Here are a few websites with windows for the 118:

Biggest reason prolly is price $$$

New base msrp’s are 5000 to 10000$ more. Thaz a lot of reasons for not getting a low roof 118” Promaster for lotsa folks plus fuel mileage generally is less to lots less as well.

Promaster 118”wb low roof msrp=44000ish$

E.g. 5 top rated minivans:

If one is a minimalist of smaller stature and pressed 4 $$ prolly can make a minivan work very well.
Sayin……INTJohnny

Not to mention that some of the hybrid mini-vans coming out get just amazing gas mileage....

I hope they don't stop making it. I only bought it cause the PMC was discontinued. I think Ram, Dodge should have promoted the PMCs usefulness or made lifestyle ads.
