Oh, shucks! I wanted to see you dancing around the fire, with the dealer and the press there.

Seeing me attempt to dance would be worth the price of admission. But the silly thing is working again. I hate it a bit less. It may be my 'legs' when I make my escape from here.

On the road again! Good for you!

Battery Tender Jr. = $29 @ WalMart. to keep that new expensive battery happy..........

Pissing in the wind with a Harbor Freight/any make solar powered one...my experienced opinion. Especially if it's a true AGM battery.
Your experiences may differ........

You can add pigtails (included with the charger) to make hooking it up easy. I would recommend for long term storage (more than two weeks) to also disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any parasitic battery drain. Not needed if you ride more often.

Happy Trails!

The Polaris lives again. A $115.00 AGM battery from Interstate and it fired up.

Congrats Rob! One more problem solved.

Excellent news Gunny. I was replacing batteries all the time on my Harley when I had it And Harley reverses the positions of the positive/negative terminals so you have to buy their cheap crap batteries because aftermarket ones don't work. One of the many things Harley's do that bother me to no end, yet I still love them. Go figure.

Running battery tenders I got an average five years out of my batteries on my Harleys... my brother even got seven years out of one in his fancy heated and cooled garage (I could have loved happily in the space he had in there).  His buddy gets one to two years on his because he doesn't run a tender.

a small solar panel(15-20 watts) run though a small controller works good. if your Polaris has a roof you could mount it up there. highdesertranger

Thanks HDR, I'll either do that or disconnect the battery's negative cable. I can't leave anything attached at night, I live in an apartment for three more weeks and things have a way of 'walking' off.
