I don't even bother looking at the fire restrictions anymore. Anywhere in California, Oregon, or Washington when it's not actively raining? Just don't do it. (And maybe not even then.)

Just drove up the SW Washington coast. It sure looks lush and green right now. BUT - places where there should be shallow water in sloughs and marshes? Big mudflats instead. It's not even June yet.

Central Oregon is very dry. We've already been evacuated once this spring for a fire down the road about 1/2 mile from my house near Bend. Please be super careful with fire if you camp in the forest in Central Oregon.

Been on the Oregon coast for two months now and lived here for over 5 years. I don't recall seeing this little rain in all those years. Going to be a harsh fire season. Please Be Careful!
