Who's forum is this? Hobo stripper does not relate to my lifestyle.

Huh?

Edit: I searched. It is a link on the blog list... I had never clicked on it before. I didn't post the link but I did just click on it.

This is from the blog description:
"I used to live in a van and drive all over the country getting naked for cash. This is where I blogged it all - from van dwelling tips to crazy stripping stories. Nothing lasts forever, though, and I moved back home to the wilderness to make porn and sleep outside at forty below."

I see van dwelling in description. Folks "van dwell" for different reasons. There are evangelicals who van dwell on a mission, those who are political activists from the left and right, those on missions of self-discovery and those just escaping the yoke of conformity. I may personally subscribe to all or none of the above reasons.

You won't agree with all of the above. All may have helpful info in the common thread of van dwelling though.

Whatever else folks do aside from van dwelling may be unwelcome here as topics of distraction from van dwelling. However, on-topic posts are welcome.

I didn't post the link but I don't have a problem with it.

Wait what?!?

Edited to change my response now that I know what this was about: Seriously!

seriously? yes! i learned much of what i know about vandwelling from hobostripper. she knows about cold weather vandwelling and many have learned from her experiences. who said we have to relate to anybody's lifestyle? was that in the rules? i musta missed that day :)

too funny. the concept and idea. too funny.

ditto about looking beyond the surface (title) Cyndi.

there is good info on this blog about vandwelling at 40 below, canning on a coleman stove (moose meat anyone?) including pics of doing it on the Alcan highway in the middle of the road, tips on modifying an astro van, and was even the first person in our community to reverse the passenger seat of their astro!

hoboknitter

lucrative is right. that blogger was able to buy a homestead in alaska. i'm not judging :)

I know I'm gonna get in trouble for this but... (purple means sarcasm) THIS THREAD WOULD BE MORE MEANINGFUL WITH PICTURES.

I kid. I KID!

As a man who enjoys a good strip joint every now and then, and as a huge admirer of HoboStripper, I would say it relates to my lifestyle. Bob

There are lots of Sex Workers traveling the country in their vans/RV's/etc, I know of 3 or 4 personally that are friends of mine. Hobostripper is but one of many.

With Love,
Tara

I read her blog. I don't necessarily agree with stripping or sex work, but her insight into van dwelling was terrific and all I was concerned about.

I have also learned from her blog and have been reading it for some time now. I think I found it of Cindi or Katies blogs.

Can you add a link to that fine wood stripper's blog? Someone somewhere might find it relevant.

Hahahaha ... you said "wood" and "stripper" in the same sentence.
