We do have that 70th year in common, more or less.<br /><br />Simply, all i can do is but "share that which i have seen(experienced) and heard(received)".<br /><br />And experience has taught me that "The Truth rejected for the moment, remains at the ready to be received" by any and all who finally 'see' how truly "poor and needy" we are!<br /><br />And pain?<br /><br />Thankfully pain is a good thing!<br /><br />For "love suffers long", as "the worst of time" reveals itself once again as "the best of time"!<br /><br />Father Help! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; and HE does.......<br /><br /><br />

Francisco:&nbsp; You're probably right.<br /><br />I find the older I get the less I actually know and what I've seen [experienced] and heard [recieved] just tends to all blend together into the fabric of recollection.&nbsp; I do recall having thought at one time I'd learned a lot from it all, but there's all manner of evidence I was deluding myself.<br /><br />Good luck to you learning from yours in ways you understand better than I understand mine.

Age is a blessing indeed, for only them do we realize in fullness how truly "poor and needy" we are!<br /><br />Many of the indigenous peoples knew, for they could not read that which emanated from mankind's "imag"ination and "stirred up evermore of the muddied waters". They could hear, but once said the words became liken unto the wind, and mankind once again turned to The Great Spirit from whence came their&nbsp;sustenance, and many referred to HIM as Father, Our Father, as well.......<br /><br />A simple and spiritual life!<br /><br />And your comment was appreciated jm, yet simply, the only way i know of anything, that is worthwhile knowing, is:<br /><br />Father Help! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; and HE does.......

I suppose the answer is NO.&nbsp; Sorry?<br /><br />What I do know in my "knowing" is that this world has been worse and this world is getting better every day.&nbsp; More people are feeling the "indwelling Spirit" and leaving organized religion than ever before.&nbsp; Fortunately, some of these same people are not giving up on the politics of this country or this planet and it is begining to show.&nbsp; I am optimistic and hopeful and filled with joy every day.&nbsp; I can not wrap my mind around too much gloom and doom because I do not "know it" in "my world".&nbsp; <br /><br />Back to my re-reading of the thread.&nbsp; Namaste.<br /><br />PS.
