Just so you know a lot of times hitting yard or estate sales you can get nice wood cabinets or damaged furniture that can be modified or disassembled and repurposed cheaper than trying to build with new expensive wood from the lumber yard or big box store. Most big box stores have damaged panels for sale as well. Which often works out great for small projects.
True!

Will have to start looking around.

The community thrift store that is on the drive into Silly Al’s has a large outdoor yard full of all kinds of stuff out behind their building. You can bargain on the price… if they have even bothered to stick a price on the items out there. If they have not set a price just make an offer or even offer to take it away for free 🤣

Wasn't aware there was a thrift store there. Will check it out.

They close at 2:00 and are only open a few days a week. Not open On Sunday or Monday not sure about Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday are when I tend to go there. Locally owned. There is a shelf just inside the front door where they have some free food, generally things people got at the food bank and did not want. Canned and boxed stuff.

I'm good on food, though it's nice that they have that available for those that need it.

I'll check it out next time I'm in town. :)
