It works! No, no pictures were taken!

By the way, the A/C ran 24 x 7 (on the built in thermostat) while camping the last couple of days. By maintaining the indoor temperature at 70-74 degrees, the thermotron ran a lot cooler (38-40 degrees instead of 55-60)

For those who use shore power when camping, I think the portable a/c makes a convenient solution. It's nice to be able to use the exhaust air, too!

VT

vantrekker,
does the exhaust have to be mounted to a window?
as opposed to say, a roof vent?

Hi,

The exhaust air would work better if a person ran it through a roof vent... Straight up is optimum...

I'm contemplating a vent in the roof but don't want to cut any more holes... For now it's just easier to run it out the window. So far so good though... I cranked it down very cold last night and slept like a baby.

Brad aka V.T.
