Hello, new member here. I was excited to see this thread as I am hoping to install a similar system in my VW Vanagon. Most interesting is that I also want to use the engine or a propane heater to heat normal engine coolant. I have a couple of questions.
1. Could you expand a bit on how the propane heater would heat the fluid? Is that a ready made component that I can buy or part of the heater itself? (I was thinking a modifying a propex or lil buddy heater somehow)
2. I echo JT646's question about a thermal mass storage. I was thinking some ceramic tile under thin plywood? I would like something lightweight but still hold the heat.
