Hello all, I am new to the site and have been watching many of Bob's you tube vids. Hubby and I are looking to see how quickly he can retire a few years early and we can spend more time on the road. So I come here for the planning stages since added income will be a requirement since we won't be pulling SS anytime soon. We are also interested in getting more going on with this type of living on the east coast. Specifically the Appalachian mountains. I envy all of the free stuff out west! In this vein,we also are looking into how to house some of you if you pass through our way. We have skills in helping you maintain your rigs and building. Those of you on tight budgets getting out of a car and into campers or vans are at our heart. Lots of thoughts and now implementation is in order.
We use a teardrop camper at present and love it! We have been using it for 3 yrs and take it out every chance we get. We long for more freedom on the road and are working to get there. A larger camper with standing room will be a requirement for longer travel endeavors in a year or two. In the meantime, I come here to visit with you and exchange information.

Wow, you go girl !!! I love your generous and thoughtful mentality. I'm planning on joining the community and doing something similar. I can host someone in winter ( I live in the desert SW)also do minor repairs and maintenance. We need more people like you.
