Just joined, retired 2 months ago. Live on a 40 gooseneck flatbed trailer with an Artic Cat truck camper on it. Use the rest of the trailer for motorcycle and my own personal patio. Pull it with Isuzu truck. Decided it was time to travel and do some relaxing.

Welcome, Vermithrax!

Your rig sounds like my kind of camper. We used to have an old Chinook slide-in mounted on a flatbed trailer. We would have just put it in the back of our pickup truck but we didn't have one, so we bought a flatbed trailer and mounted the Chinook on it and pulled it with our Buick. Then we added a bathroom in the back and enclosed the area under the cabover to make a bedroom for our little girl. This worked great because she was only about three feet tall at the time.

What fun ! The three of us lived in it all one fall and winter around Austin, Texas, and finally bailed in May when it got too hot.

Go for it! Thank you for bringing back so many wonderful memories...

Johnny
