Great picture!!! Last night we had a lightning storm in LHC. One strike just a few 100 yards away, whew. Made my ears ring. Today is sunny and nice.

Aye, Q.  We got a nice amount of rain here in La Posa South/ Just enough to keep what appears to be another super bloom happy!  :D
Stay safe!  Wear a tin foil hat with a wire to ground ... just in case!  LOL! :)

Another shot from my trip out to Queen Kofa:

Nice picture, thanks for sharing. One of the best benefits of being a nomad is views like that.

I know I am quoting myself - but the same words apply to this pic as the last.

Cool!

Not far from Alamosa!

I took this shot of Blanca way back in late 2016:

Just ran across this thread and read most of it. I love how you went from "2.7 more years until I can retire" to "We're on the road, woohoo!" in about sixty days. LOL

Love your photography. Very inspirational. We're about 10 days from flying back in to the U.S. to grab an RV and pick up where we left off several years ago. Hope to see ya 'round.

It sure is an interesting place to be, weather-wise.  With near 360 degree views, and 14000+ feet of granite jutting out of the ground, sucking dramatic storms over it's summit to the deeply appreciated glee of at least this photographer, it has become a "must visit" spot for me.  In fact, I just bought 5 (completely empty) acres near the base of this monolith ... looking forward to another build project!  Stay tuned!!  :)

Here in the Republic of Texas, we all know that the one thing better than owning a place in Colorado is having a FRIEND who owns a place in Colorado.

Howdy friend!

:D

Just stickin' my head up. Don't shoot!

I'm still in La Posa South LTVA. The crowd's thinning out as season end approaches and temperatures inch up a bit. I'll be following suit in a few more weeks, then start north again for destinations in New Mexico, Colorado and Idaho.

Still LOVING this lifestyle ... see you on the road!

Peace,

Good to hear from you! Do you still camp in the 'Transformer Trailer'?

If you ever pass thru here, you'd be welcome to stay for a bit. In fact I have two guests here now, coming from Quartzsite, heading to Vermont...this is not quite halfway I guess...but it's a good place along the journey to relax for a bit.

Safe travels!
