What the heck are all the tire tracks in the field in the 3rd image? Obviously made during mud season.

That's a field right next to the WalMart and lots of trucks use that area to turn around. It's actually very hard, solid ground, easily supports heavy trucks...at least when it's dry! If you look closely in the mirror, you can see that my truck is firmly planted on that dirt.

It's been over 100 since I've been here. 101 today, 106 currently forecast for Thursday.  Flippin' hot!  I'm managing to stay cool by dousing myself with water ... the dry wind cools me off pretty good!

Darn, I can't see photos on here for some reason. They come out with a "broken photo" icon and that's all. What do I need to do to fix this?

Well, folks ... It's been just over a year since I hit the road full time (I launched May 11, 2018).  I've been remiss in keeping this thread up to date ... hard to find time when you're having SO much fun!!!  Sorry.  No ... I'm not!  LOL! 

Anyway ... I am doing spectacularly!  I've consumed several thousand miles of highway and seen over 14 different camps in at least four states.  I can't BELIEVE how much I love this life!  I've made new friends, some will no doubt be life long.  I've been privy to vistas that paint the eye with such beauty that mere words can't begin to convey.  I've fallen in love, fallen out ... both meandered and followed specific trails ... this is the way humans were meant to live!  I've found the modern Eden!
