<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">I will need some help picking the appropriate forum at some time if there is interest. I thought I would share how I modified my pop up. It may give some other members some ideas for their projects.<br /><br />The Coleman I have had a plastic top. It cracked and split all over so I replaced it with a metal one since a Coleman replacement was about $4000. I also made it 4 inches higher to accommodate an additional 4" memory foam pad on top of original foam. At my weight.........or any adult for that matter........I sink right to the wood. It seems engineers and manufactures must not ever sleep in these things to not figure that they need more foam to cushion an aching body.<br /><br />Another modification was replacing the incredibly cheap cabinets. I replaced and redesigned mine with real oak……….full pull out drawers, full utilization of space. Now I have a full set with extras of revere ware.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">I also removed the useless water tank under one of the table seats and made a gun vault. It still needs some work but at least the guns are stored out of site. Much better than leaving them in plain sight in a locked vehicle. Although my vault is made from ¾ plywood, it would be much harder to get into than a locked vehicle. Our vehicles don’t have trunks. A criminal may spend a lot of time breaking in and have no reward as it may be empty. Then he has to constantly be worried about which way and when an armed person will return to camp.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Just to let you know……….pop up trailers water holding tank may be fine for some. For us we value the storage space more. The sink is not big enough for a plate so might as well haul water in 5 gal jugs. We wash dishes outside on a plastic folding table in a plastic tub basin. We mostly precook meals and vacuum seal them. We will boil the bag and pour out as needed. Keeps dishes down and at the end we have hot water to and clean pot. Paper and plastic do the rest.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Anyway starting to ramble……….all for now.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Jim</span></p>
