My ex-wife did mystery shopping, and they paid 50-75 dollars each time she did it. Unfortunately, in our area this was like 3 times in 3 months :\ It wasn't a traditional mystery shopper jobs she ended up doing, it was to verify that the place was an actual place of business for the credit bureaus to allow them to report. They knew she was coming and she had to verify they had a physical address, office space, file cabinets etc. We were jobless and homeless at the time so any bit helped us but it was painfully obvious you couldn't sustain such a low level of jobs. She did have one where she was supposed to go into a save a lot and inspect their back area but they refused to let her <img src="/images/boards/smilies/redface.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"> She still got paid for it but i think that manager probably got in big trouble as their own corporation pays for these inspections.
