hello all,
I've been reading Bobs blog since 2009, I think. I've lived in trailers, vans, tents and houses. I'm gearing up to do the nomad thing for two months in the summer and two months in the winter. The rest of the time I'm in my 'stick and brick' in AZ. 

Access to the tough 4wd areas is my goal for most of the time. So, I'm selling the trailer and getting a truck camper. Getting a light slide-in camper, gutting it and customizing it to be ultr-light.

Now that you're out here don't be afraid to post on anything you can help with.
You've been reading a LOT longer than I have been here !!!!
Sounds like you have a lot of experience too.
Your build sounds interesting ,super light is a good theme for anybody !
We'll learn a "ton" from your effort to eliminate the pounds !
I hope you have fun doing it and we sure will have fun looking on.
