Is Los Algodones Still Considered Safe Travel

The US has issued travel advisories for 5 Mexican States:

Baja, the state Los Algodones is in, I believe, is not among the 5.  But, I am curious to know if others have been traveling there since the advisory was published, and would you still call it safe?

I've been going to Los Algodones since 2012. The last time I went was yesterday. It seems the same as always, safe as ever.

The only thing to fear is the long line getting back into the US. So many medical tourists. And remember your passport.

That line back to the US was long this day. About 45 minutes or so....I bought a Los Algondones hat from one of the street vendors while I was in line, so it was not a total waste!

I bought a few things while there and had a nice Mexican dinner at the Eureka Plaza...very tasty and real meat! Beer and the dinner was $10.

I do fear lines...and very often have trouble staying between them!

45 minutes doesn't sound too awful bad. I've heard stories of it being hours deep. At least I know I can get a hat!
