After leaving Sebastian Inlet (last week) spent the afternoon at Spressard Holland Park.
28 Feb O Club Beach Park across hiway from Patrick Air Force Base runway.
29 Feb Canaveral National Seashore
1 Mar Washington Oaks State
2-4 Mar Fort Clinch State Park
5 Mar Anastasia State Park, St Augustine
And it’s where I’m at today and probably 2maro as well……

Talk about stealth vehicle livin…….






Above 3 pix are of a Nuke Submarine I saw heading out to sea while I was exploring the Fort Clinch State Park beach. Yep.
Lookin for shells at Fort Clinch State Park and USCG gunboat escorts suddenly all over the place clearing the St Marys River channel. I Was like wtf is going on? Then about 5 minutes later here comes that sub. Spooky stealthy lookin stuff.



Hope they don’t need to kill us all now cause I posted these pix. It’s the Deep State, man, they know everything and they’re out to get us!

12 Mar, ‘24 Somewhere near Beaufort, SC

After spending 2 days at Anastasia State Park moved back north spending 2 days at Little & Big Talbot Island State Parks.
9 Mar returned for one day at Fort Clinch State Park NE of Jacksonville and my last day spent in Florida for this season. Left Florida just before dark driving across Georgia into South Carolina, spending the night in Okatie, SC.

Hadn’t planned on heading to Edisto Island quite this soon but when I read of the minus 1.5’ tides occurring in the afternoon of Sunday, Monday & Tuesday well jonny boi made the qwik decision to drive there Sunday AM. Stayed on Edisto till Tuesday (today) afternoon doing what I do. Enjoy a beautiful beach & look for shells.

19 Mar ‘24 Somewhere on Oak Island, NC

Left South Carolina this morning after spending several hours at Myrtle Beach State Park. The ten days while in SC were mostly split between 3 of the State’s 4 Atlantic Ocean bordering state parks; Hunting Island, Edisto, Huntington Island tho I also squeezed in several hours on Hilton Head.
Edit: Ooops; also spent a beautiful day at Folly Beach. Can’t believe I forgot about that. Hit 80 degrees and the beach was packed with spring break sunbathers.

The drive into North Carolina was uneventful and I anticipate I’ll spend about 2 weex wandering up the coastal islands including the Outer Banks with a couple days visit with my Dr Dawter & Hubby.

After I leave Kitty Hawk/Nags Head area I’ll spend couple days in Va Beach then onto the Maryland Coast.

22 Mar ‘24 Somewhere on Topsail Island, NC

After spending the day on Oak Island, headed toward Wilmington were spent 2 days at Carolina Beach & Kure Beach. Moved on this morning to present location; Topsail Island; where I’ll spend much of the day at Surf City, NC:



……and since it’s “2 girls for every boy”; well I know, I know, Pix or it didn’t happen.

29 Mar ‘24 Somewhere near Washington, NC

After leaving Topsail Island and spending a night in Jacksonville NC, it was on to Emerald Isle where spent most of the next 3 days (23-25 Mar)
at Morehead City/Fort Macon State Park.

26 Mar was at Flanners Beach in the Neuse River area of the Croatan National Forest.

27-29 Mar (today) splitting time between City of Washington marina & waterfront area and Goose Creek State Park.

yesterday saw about 4” of rain and there are flood alerts across Coastal Carolina but today is nothing but a blue sky completely void of clouds.

Thursday, 4 April, ‘24 Kamp Koon, Michigan

Yes; I’ve returned to my kamp near Lake Michigan for summer; till late Fall. A lil bit earlier than planned but by maybe only a week.

After an enjoyable weekend visit with Dr Dawter, I
Decided to forego time at OBX, Va Bch & Assateague National Seashore, Maryland and drive back to Michigan.

Weather on the Atlantic Coast wasn’t the best at all this week: rainy, windy, chilly to cold and in some respects better weather near Lake Michigan.

That coupled with my Oncologist Dr Dawter’s confirmation of a very suspicious looking “pimple” spot that I noticed on me a couple weex back.

“Yeah, Dad, it’s highly suspicious; you need to have that surgically removed and sent to lab.”

So, appointment made with my Dermatologist and back to Michigan. This will be my 5th cancer treatment: 2 cryogenic; 1 surgery & 1 12 weex radiation…….

Cancer has long ago become a part of my everyday Life and it’s time for me to close this thread.
