Above: stayed in this boat ramp lot and it was like heaven. Very scenic so peaceful and only 4 vehicles drove thru the entire time I was there and none stayed more than 20 minutes. Definitely put this place on the “Return” list.
Below is pik of approaching wall cloud that spawned a tornado at my sleep spot near Elizabeth City NC. Major hail stone bombed but all windows survived.

12 April
Hung out in Virginia Beach for several days tho not the downtown ocean front areas which is just tooo much touristy stuff - similar to Myrtle Beach SC tourist fronts.

Rather spent time at First Landing St Park. On Thursday 14 April traveling the scenic backroads, I left Virginia; blinked my eyes thru Hancock, Maryland and totally missed it. Next I knew I’m reading a Welcome to Pennsylvania sign. Guess Md is like only 3 miles wide there. idk

Drove the backroads thru much of Pa too and then spent the night at the I76 Ohio Welcome Center. Awoke driving the backroads across Ohio & Northern Indiana entering Michigan near Sturgis, Michigan.
Drove north thru Grand Rapids; turning NW and about 90 minutes later I pulled into my woodsy wilderness spot - Kamp Koon; where all of this began some 5 months ago……..

As always must first supply Kamp with firewood
And found myself greeted by a woodsy smiling face.
