Intentional Poverty

I was a dog groomer for many many years and made a good living at it. I wanted to travel and try workamping and left a good job to do it. Guess that could be considered intentional poverty.

Come to think of it, I gave up a perfectly good professional career in publishing to become a bike mechanic. Not quite poverty but half of what I was making. Starting to get my act together for vandwelling to accommodate the cut in pay.

Seems like there are a bunch of vandwellers who have chosen a path of intentional poverty, but who lead rich lives and attain a wealth of experiences.

He's not a vandweller but has the same values, I think. I like his little house and the way he has chosen to live.
