Regarding the exterior cleaning, I dont want a minor rain to cause grey streaks dripping down the sides of my white van. But there is so much surface area to clean. When it rains I do sometimes bust out the gas station style window cleaner on an extension pole to get the roof and sides cleaner but the coin operated car washes are easier, but I rarely do more than spray, and use the foamy brush then rinse all within the 4 minute time span, so it is hardly a good scrub.

While my van is painted with roller and foam brush, this marine enamel can be waxed, and This helps it shed the dirt. I recently appllied some more. I also wax the windows so rain water beads. I like parking somewhere exposed during a storm and watch the ocean go nuts. Later today should be fun with gusts predicted to hit 50MPH and Wind blown waves be in the 15 to 20 foot range from an unusual direction.

Interior cleaning, well I am bad about dishes and silverware, usually letting my sink accumulate until I have nothing left that is clean. Bed usually gets made pronto and lifted off platform to air out the underside.
Floors swept regularly, but a buckethead vaccuum works better. and I have micro brush attachments for doing the dashboard.

I have been known to bust out a leaf blower and beat the seats and send out clouds of dust out the other side.

I put stainless steel panels on my fridge door, and this is best cleaned with oil on a paper towel. I used to use Olive oil, but now Use some Marvel mystery oil which really cleans and shines nicely.
