*Apologies in advance if this is the wrong area to post this in... if so, mods feel free to move it or let me know and I'll repost to the correct sub-forum*

Good afternoon!

I’m trying to job hunt in the Colorado front range area (roughly anywhere between Ft Collins and Colorado Springs) starting Sept 22nd and I am having a difficult time finding a place to park my rig long term (at least a month).  Is there anyone here that has or knows of some property I could park on in exchange for some cash?  I’m a quiet and friendly tech professional with a well behaved 35lb dog and a 23ft motorhome.  The only requirements I’m looking for is a place that is safe, allows my dog, has a standard plug in (15/20amp breaker) that I could use, and has good AT&T reception.  Please let me know if you can help a gal out or if you know someone who can!   It seems that all the RV resorts, parks, and campgrounds in that area are full right now  :(   (I'd consider Forest or BLM land but I don't have the capacity to generate my own electricity and need to be in cell range for my current job.)

With immense gratitude- Adriana

Have you tried Riverview RV Park in Loveland, or Loveland RV Resort?

The Dire Wolfess

There is NO public land that I would recommend along the front range anymore. All have been overrun by vagrants and meth-heads (Thanks Boulder!). I would not recommend any of the Walmarts anymore either. Not only are they all signed with No Overnights Allowed those signs are ignored by the worst of the worst. You will not feel safe there anymore.

The RV parks on the front range are expensive and usually full. There are a few state parks (St Vrain State Park for example) along the interstate as well, if you do not mind the $26+ per night cost. Probably will not allow you to stay a month though.

The Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Longmont (30 min south of Fort Collins) allows RV parking. They even have 20/30amp electric hookups. $70 annual membership and $10 per night. They have showers inside as well as a nice fenced in yard for the dog or the dog park two blocks away. A grocery store and a Planet Fitness right next door too. I've stayed here many times. There is a Moose Lodge in CO-Springs as well, but it is too small.

There is a small RV park near the town of Peyton,  I will see if I can find a Web link to it.
Peyton is "out east " of Colorado Springs.   I camp frequently in the Front Range area West of Colorado Springs.   I've seen none of what Van-Tramp is referring to,  but then I'm very familiar with the area,  and choose carefully.   I'm also not trying to accomplish what you are.

Regards
